Other people don't like these things about Deadlock: 1. Too many New York City based characters 2. It's a MOBA For #1: ...So this game is set in NYC. For #2: This isn't league, at least try it. If you didn't like it, then move on. "I really like the characters but weehhh it's a MOBA" stop. :)
Ouuggg so many people got clickbaited by that Deadlock PCGamer article, there was no GenAI in Deadlock’s development. A) Due to Valves own TOS they’d have to disclose it B) A Single lame developer (Not even working on Deadlock he works in tech support) using ChatGPT does not mean the game uses AI.

But @jessiegender.bsky.social is right - think of the amount of times HBO commented on GOT leaks and downloads, just as an example. They DO track these things, and even that drives interest. It's also the fact that 95% of the appeal of gmod was just the fact that you could easily port maps across and use stuff from your favourite Valve games. Nobody needs another walled garden in the late 20s, and ON TOP of all of that -- shit's ugly af.
Wanted to try and animate a gel-like thing, and spent like 2 hours trying to figure it out with physics or lattices, or modifiers and just couldn't get it to behave how I wanted it...so I gave up and just did it manually with bones. 😔 Just testing movement for now.

Decided to try the deadlock update and Vyper because I noticed they have the best winrate in the highest mmr lobbies. Probably not the first to find this out but corrupted burst fire is giga busted.
