Dammit, why is "toy" version of Missing Link Soundwave like $35 more than the "anime" version? I kinda wanted that version, because I'm guessing there will only be an "anime" version of Soundblaster.

Got a get-together tomorrow night at some sort of brewpub, in honor of the birthday of my first* friend, who passed away ~3yrs ago. His sister organized it. I don't even drink, so I'm gonna have to stand around & awkwardly toast him with water or soda or something while everyone is doing shots.

Finally managed to get/install my replacement TV. I was able to do it myself, even though it's ostensibly a 2-person job. TVs are bulky, but they've gotten weirdly light (& flimsy) recently.

The more I see of Beast Of Reincarnation, I think I've decided to put it into the "get it on sale" list, because it's probably gonna end up going into my backlog immediately, lol. Kinda wish there was a PS5 demo, though. It looks... okay. Aspects of it look like they should have been baked longer.

App store on my phone periodically pops up these notifications that are like "Do you want to receive notifications of new apps & events?" & the only choices are "YES" or "LATER". There is no "NO" choice. So whenever I click "LATER" to clear the notification, I hear this Steve Urkel voice in my head:

Steve Urkel: I'm Wearing You Down!

Alt: Gif from the show Family Matters of the character Steve Urkel talking to Laura Winslow. He saunters forward saying "I'm wearing you down, baby!", then poses "I'm wearing you dowwwwnnnn!", then scurries out the door.
