There are hundreds of people in every community in this country looking for work. Pay people $30 an hour or an equivalently generous pick rate to deliver easy vote packs *and* apply a 10.5% flat tax only *and* exempt if from income deduction for benefits and working for families and whatnot.

Sam Neill was one of the NZers I already knew about when I met Sandy in 2001. Been amazing seeing all his work since, he is one of the great actors. But what a man, what a good bugger, what a staunch ambassador for all that is truly great about Aotearoa. Farewell to a bloody legend.💔
My favorite Sam Neil fact will always be that he designed a future Australian flag that replaces the union jack with the aboriginal flag for Event Horizon and insisted the film use it.
