Anyone not running on reforming the Supreme Court cant be the leader of anything moving forward. It's an unhinged gang of extremists unrestrained by anything or anyone.
It's the Roberts Court, nothing "supreme" about it. Saying "the Supreme Court did X" lends it unmerited legitimacy. In fact, it's a group of people - 6 of them purchased by Leonard Leo & friends to do billionaires' bidding. We can change makeup, size & operations of this cartel.
A legislature can regulate the judiciary in Utah. According to Article III of the Constitution, Congress can do the same to the Supreme Court. Next up: SCOTUS expansion in 2029.
