PR descriptions before LLMs: “here lol glhfdd”. PR descriptions after LLMs: 4 pages of academic writing going into the intricacies of every change. Author still doesn’t check the “AI was used in creating this PR” checkbox in the PR template.

Food, healthcare, shelter are basic human rights. That means I believe everyone should have them. Even assholes. Your basic needs shouldn’t depend on other people’s charity or good will. I want grumpy old recluses, with zero friends and no internet, to get free healthcare. That’s the whole point.

The idea that we shouldn’t speak ill of the dead seems ridiculous to me. What more important time is there to set the public memory of the good or bad a person has put into the world than when they die. It’s the gift we give to those we loved, and the bill due for those who made others miserable.

I have a terrible confession to make. When playing video games, I’m probably the least stress-tolerant person there is. If something chases me, I will literally turn the console off and collect myself.

Sweden's slide into fascism happened first slowly, then quickly, and not at all quietly, but still people will hold it up as some sort of social democratic model to follow. That model is dead, and has been for a long, long time.
