Someone stole my Apple Watch from my arm tonight. Skills! I'm not even mad.
PR descriptions before LLMs: “here lol glhfdd”. PR descriptions after LLMs: 4 pages of academic writing going into the intricacies of every change. Author still doesn’t check the “AI was used in creating this PR” checkbox in the PR template.
Food, healthcare, shelter are basic human rights. That means I believe everyone should have them. Even assholes. Your basic needs shouldn’t depend on other people’s charity or good will. I want grumpy old recluses, with zero friends and no internet, to get free healthcare. That’s the whole point.

ICYMI: We released a new library called Spectre.Console.Ansi, which makes writing ANSI a breeze (and much more). With this library, you can also use the markup functionality directly with an old-fashioned System.Console. spectreconsole.net/console/how-...

Fascinating what people will risk to do 80 km/h in a 70 km/h zone. Their own life and their family’s lives, all to shave a minute or two off the trip. People are stupid.
You asked, and we delivered. Debugging was the #1 request from .NET devs. With ReSharper 2026.2, it's here, joining the inspections, refactorings, and Solution Explorer you already use in VS Code, Cursor, and compatible editors. Why wait? Install and debug today. 🔗 jetbrains.blog/rs-vsc-debug...
Fun fact: To keep production costs low, many Star Trek scenes were actually filmed on Earth rather than on location in outer space.
The idea that we shouldn’t speak ill of the dead seems ridiculous to me. What more important time is there to set the public memory of the good or bad a person has put into the world than when they die. It’s the gift we give to those we loved, and the bill due for those who made others miserable.

For the last 30 years, my friends have made me watch soccer, and I still don't get it.
Today I learned that I like euro techno more than soccer.
We have all, at some point, worked with someone like Larry.
I would kill or die for Larry
Peter Thiel talks a lot about the antichrist, which I find very ironic, because if I were religious and believed in all that, my first bet for the antichrist would be Peter Thiel. That man is pure evil.
Today's hot take: C# async/await would be so much nicer with Rust's postfix await. i.e. "foo.bar().await.baz" instead of "(await foo.bar()).baz" which IMO often becomes super ugly.
Just blogged: Five years after my .NET preferred console stack post, an update on how I've split the recipe into a slim template to scaffold and Devlead.Console as a versioned source package, so bootstrap code stays in sync across projects www.devlead.se/posts/2026/2... #dotnet #csharp #nuget

I have a terrible confession to make. When playing video games, I’m probably the least stress-tolerant person there is. If something chases me, I will literally turn the console off and collect myself.
Did I mention that I really hope we will get the new Siri improvements in the EU?
Sweden's slide into fascism happened first slowly, then quickly, and not at all quietly, but still people will hold it up as some sort of social democratic model to follow. That model is dead, and has been for a long, long time.
Sweden's parliament passed a law allowing authorities to revoke immigrants' residency permits based on bad behavior, such as having unpaid debts, doing undeclared work or having links to extremist organizations reut.rs/3SrgwNj
