Food, healthcare, shelter are basic human rights. That means I believe everyone should have them. Even assholes. Your basic needs shouldn’t depend on other people’s charity or good will. I want grumpy old recluses, with zero friends and no internet, to get free healthcare. That’s the whole point.

Today's hot take: C# async/await would be so much nicer with Rust's postfix await. i.e. "foo.bar().await.baz" instead of "(await foo.bar()).baz" which IMO often becomes super ugly.
