It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.

Not perfect and need to get correct fitting bolts and hopefully source brass washers to fit the wood better once it’s oiled and goes a deeper reddish brown. Cant do any more tonight as I need to use power tools and to late for that. But hay this new tool box is nearly done. #woodworking

Back of the tool box with the taller side. I like the wood markings and wanted to show it offFront of the tool box. I wanted it to feel like there was a front and back wile also removing a damaged section of wood in the process. Time will tell if this works well as a tool box as a result.

The new tool box is back to being a pelt map. Going to hit all the sides with the sander while it’s easer to do so then we do the glue up for the box at least and have the parts ready for the rotating handle. I would like brass but be using steel as place holder. #woodworking
