I tried to watch that AI Neill Blomkamp movie and I lasted maybe four minutes, including ADHD induced fast forwarding out of nausea/boredom. The most generic plot (?) thrown together in a soulless slop of audiovisual stimulation. It’s a ‘movie’ in the same way that taking a shit is a ‘feast’.
WHEW. This is one gnarly and fucked-up collection of stories, and beautifully written, too. Really good stuff, @pauladashe.bsky.social. I’m sure I won’t regret finishing it right before bedtime or anything.
