No one in Scotland should live in fear due to the colour of their skin of their religious belief. The displays of hate witnessed in the city are the antithesis of the compassionate and welcoming spirit of Glasgow, and will not be tolerated.

Labour's @paulsweeney.bsky.social says the first duty of MSPs is to their constituents "not American neo-Nazis on social media". He says some MSPs have "sought to fan the flames of division" with the talk of 'strangers' and calls for further protests.
