It’s new stationary day!!! Two orders came in from two of my favorite artists (technically 3 as the stickers in the package in the center are a collab, I believe, based on some of my favorite collectible pins) including @catmintstudios.bsky.social who makes the cutest cats).

Like 11 years ago I got married to this dude, right? We had an awesome honeymoon, did a 5k mile road trip around the American West, went to a bunch of parks. We stopped in Vegas and I played on a Dolly Parton 'Jolene' themed slot. So I hit the jackpot, made a pact, and now I have a wife. 😁

I'm really tired of authors breaking the stellar pacing of their novel for the Cambellian slog of the hero turning to their family in some way and being disappointed. For a lot of reasons. But mostly just because of the slog. 🫠 It's a hard thing to get right.

Before there was Booksky or Booktok or BookTube or w/e, there was this tall ass lanky blerd at my local Borders that always gave me the BIGGEST SMILES and excited book recs every single time I walked in the store. Booksellers are MVPs. I think about that man a lot and I hope he's doing well. 💕

AFN Korea, early 1990's. I didn't have PBS access state side, something about the cable in my area. Only got PBS exposure at friends' or school. Until we were stationed on Osan. AFN broadcast an after-school PBS run with Arthur, Reading Rainbow, Magic School Bus... I ran home to catch it all. 😭
