🤦‍♂️ It’s a fucking aircraft carrier, it’s not supposed to be pretty. I don’t understand why the Navy would even entertain this nonsense. He wants the tower/command center to be closer to the front of the ship. It would cost billions and result in years of delays.

Wow. Proponents of the ICE taser gloves are openly saying that one reason they love the gloves is that they doesn’t leave any marks or proof that they were used, making it harder for people to sue when they’re shocked excessively.

And there it is. CoreCivic sold four private jails to ICE this summer, booked a $1.8B gain, and is now spending $500M on a stock buyback for its investors. That’s when a company cancels its own shares to hand value to shareholders. Same profits, split fewer ways, so each share is worth more.

In NYT's partial defense, Norman doesn't seem a serious planner, more a conspiracy-pickled nutter, like Ginni Thomas (who also wrote to Meadows). But yes it shouldn't be normalized. Remember that Meadows held back several weeks of his comms from what he gave the J6C. What we didn't see is worse.

With permission from one of my habeas clients, I can share that the Bloomington Police Department is proactively cooperating with ICE to detain our neighbors. This is a screenshot of official ICE records which show that a BPD officer reached out to ICE to drop a dime on someone in local custody.
