Ken Sim was elected in 2022 with less than 20% of eligible voters voting for him, because turnout was so low. The way we beat him and ABC is by bringing our friends with us, reminding people to vote, and boosting turnout. We can do it.
I agree with the 2026 Vancouver Police Department that you need to centre data when talking about crime and perceptions, and do it through long-term trends instead of short term fluctuations or individual stats. But that’s not how the 2020-2022 VPD talked about crime and perceptions.
Paper cutout figure studies I did with my students today— the point of this exercise is to force students into thinking about shape design and being reactive
Can this genderbend Malfoy die already jesus christ (no I'm not using that fucking misogynistic name) Like it's the most milktoasty thing ever she's the most basic tsundere, what's the appeal?
I recently got Peak and Big Walk, in case any friends here would like to join me on either!
Maybe holding independent creators to the same standards that we do huge soulless corporations was never really fair. We could have let everyone draw their big tiddy OCs in peace.
A lot of neurodivergent people participate in lolcow culture and I feel like we need to have an honest discussion on it at some point.
Hey Vancouver, tomorrow is the next early voting day. Find a polling station near you and go vote! If you don’t know who to vote for & one of the things you care about is active transportation / safe streets, check out @visionzerovancouver.ca’s election guide here. visionzerovancouver.ca/vote/
I think Thundercracker has risen up to be one of my favourite Transformers now (up there with Optimus Prime, Soundwave and Dino from Dark of the Moon), though that might mostly come from his character in Transformers Skybound
alt text time since bsky didnt want me to put it on the individual panels
As a quick character overview: Alex is an early to mid 20’s Rockstar, Model and Online Personality who found herself wrapped up in the world of demons. Currently she’s an Asura in training. Together with her partner Khan, she’ll help protect Earth in the hopes of becoming an Honorary Asura.
Instead of Draco Malfoid, might I instead recommend my very own ethically sourced OC, Alex the Demon Hunter?
hey everyone, I took my dog Scott to the vet today and the lump in his armpit has doubled in size since his last appointment a year ago... he needs surgery to have it removed. I am in dire need of help with this, I do not have the funds necessary... please share, ty 🥺 ko-fi.com/jackaleope/g...
I really want to find a Thundercracker figure, just so that I can put Autobot stickers on his wings
Had an asthma attack today, felt better to be curled next to an air purifier
You can draw any mean blonde tsundere you want, I promise. You have to question why specifically it has to be one to promote Rowling's cringe ass works tho.
