Parent of 2 children assessed by us: Could not rate the service highly enough. From start to finish it was outstanding. The school have commented that the reports have been the most detailed they had ever been sent. I have referred back to it many times Thank you again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #autismassessment

Today is #Women&GirlsinScienceDay we would lay money on many of the forgotten women who contributed to scientific progress throughout history having been autistic

#Women&GirlsinScienceDay Academic & particle physicist Anne Kernan was a huge advocate for women in science, on one occasion funding a trip to CERN for an undergrad she had never met, meeting her at the airport and paying for her accommodation until funding came through. www.dib.ie/biography/ke...

I had to check the date on this article because it could’ve been written 10 years ago. Explanations of gender discrepancies in identification have been around for some time. And yet, lots of parents of girls & female clients seek us out doubting other services will recognise they are autistic

www.bmj.com/content/392/... Autistic girls & women: By age 20, they were diagnosing pretty much equal numbers of men & women. Huge study, whole population of Sweden born 1985-2020. Not 1 in 10. Not 1 in 4. Not 1 in 3. Equal numbers, just about. 100 years of research, most based on the wrong info.
