i've had almost a good 2 decades of being visibly trans online and i still can't make sense of most of the discourses that happen around the trans sphere or muster much enthusiasm or feeling for them. it just feels like being trapped in high school.
my thing with "trans culture" is that especially at this point individual trans people are making and doing so much consequential shit in so many different sectors of life that i don't know why we need to feel any obligation to fry our brains on some kind of online high school clique stuff
