I think a lot about how when my partner had our kid she (and he!) (and I, admittedly, on cushions on the ground next to her, but nonetheless) stayed in the hospital for ... 3 days I think? ... And it cost us like $40 for parking and $20 to feed me. This would not have been the case in the US.
