The mama tapir is staying close in the forest now that she knows I'm here. She had some bananas last night and then came back by twice in the middle of the night to check again. The fact that she came by so frequently means that she has her baby nearby. #tapiroftheday #tapirs

Since I haven't done any new art this past week, I thought I would share an older drawing that has a bit of a spooky vibe for the upcoming Halloween holiday. I called this 'The Ravens of Odin' and it is available as a print and also on cards at the links in my profile. #BirdArt #drawing #art

I was lucky to spot this Ruby-throated Hummingbird on a branch yesterday keeping an eye on the feeders. He has the tiniest red feather on his chest and slowly fluffed out his feathers in the cool wind. Today I saw 2 and didn't want to startle them with the camera. The food court is open. 🪶 #borbs
