Thoughts on the ENNIE awards within 1 minute of starting the stream: - The most prestigious and well-attended TTRPG convention going and you still can't afford to pay a competent audio technician?

Not to be a stick in the mud, but man the announcements from the 'big' US publishers at GenCon have been incredibly dull. Kind of feels like we're in the doldrums of the early 00s again.

Affinity on Linux working surprisingly well. Only had one crash so far and that was due to me doing some really dumb shit. Reopened, and it loaded an incremental save from just before the crash, no issues.

I think from everything I have seen of Gencon, I don't think I'd enjoy it at all. I think my ideal size for a con is like 40 people max all packed into a pub function room to play the weird homebrew shit they've been working on.

Day 1 of a week-long push to get the next major revision of Decree out the door before I call it done. The big addition is traits for each ancestry, each providing what are hopefully fun little gameplay wrinkles. I'm also looking at revising the faction and reputation rules to be a bit more meaty.
