Can anyone explain why www.theguardian.com/politics/202... would be difficult to implement? Seems to me you could just have any donations that do not come in GBP from a UK bank account subject to positive proof of eligibility before a party can accept them (burden of proof on the accepting party)

I see that Trump's meme coin is hitting new lows. Since the only reason for it having any value at all is support for Trump, a belief that such support will be higher in the future or that owning it could provide access to someone with lasting power, this is probably significant.
I see that DJT is issuing $2.5bn (yes, billion!) of stock so it can buy bitcoin. Got to wonder why the purchasers don't just buy bitcoin themselves. I also note that FRGT that said it was buying $TRUMP meme coin has absolutely tanked. Not saying the same will happen to DJT... OK, yes, I am.
