I have a theory that among the wealthy and powerful, the urge to dominate like this doesn't carry the same penalties as poor folk, and they sympathise more with the crime than the victim. It's a cultural thing. Many have been there. A tad regrettable, but just part of life you know? Sickos.
I don't expect all Jewish people in Australia to condemn the behaviour of Israelis toward Palestinians. However, the people blaming critics of the conduct of Israel's gov't & West Bank "settlers" for "antisemitism", while remaining silent about that conduct, are telling us exactly who they are.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

The lazy sociopath who golfs instead of working (on, say, a plan to win a war with Iran) wants terminally ill patients to work for benefits they’re entitled to.
During the drought, I left out a bucket of water to help wildlife. I'd never seen any frogs around here but one found it and left tadpoles. Now I'm chilling outside and listening to little peepers peeping all around me. It's really cool. That one bucket led to all this life and sweetness.
