Without realising it’s 46 years since Closer was released, I pulled these out to play today. I don’t remember much from 46 years ago but I do remember buying this and Unknown Pleasures.
A new release by this Greek musician / artist expected soon. Alien industrial soundscapes, or at least, that’s what it reminds me of.

Digging into an overspill record box brought some forgotten gems. Plastic Crimewave with Flashing Open from 2003 on the Eclipse label.
New arrival - Liquid Donnon by Jeffrey Alexander and The Heavy Lidders. Love the random guitar work on this record plus the bonus of a John McBain master. But, who designed the bloody awful cover, looks like something in the Charity Shop £1 bin.
Everything now fits in the new unit plus the added luxury of more record space. I’ve levelled the turntable, reset the tracking force. Ready to go…
New hifi unit day so everything has to be dismantled. The old one was only a stop gap but it’s worked quite well considering there is 50kg on the top shelf 😳

Tried this new release as I had the previous. Basically the same track repeated over 4 sides with minor variations. Sent it back.
