The dragonlet keeps coming back, chirping sadly when it can’t find its hoard of pennies and marbles. So today I lure it to me with an opalite earring and settle it inside my coat. I feed it Cheerios on the way home and make it a nest in my bric-a-brac display. A gigantic hoard for a tiny dragonlet.

As a sky turbine repair tech, you're used to finding strange things caught in the mechanisms. Tiny dragonlet hoards stashed in gearboxes, or drifting spellweave wrapped around the blades like cotton candy. What do you carry down from the clouds with you today? #TinyTalesTuesday #WritingPrompt

here's another throwback from 2016 a private poster commission inspired by Moby Dick honestly still really love this one, both the concept and execution i worked on pre-inked scratchboard for this one (so fully black) instead of the usual white claybord that i ink myself 30x40cm

a black and white scratchboard illustration inspired by Mody Dick. It depicts a giant white whale about to collide with a whaling ship. The scene is viewed from a bird's eye view, high above the scene. Seagulls are seen orbiting around the scene. The ship and the whale create waves in the water that reinforce the tension between them.

I take a deep, calming breath and then extend the wood-and-canvas wings I spent so long constructing. The joints and joins creak and pop as they lock into place, the cords that serve as sinews stretching and tightening. It is time to see what no one has seen: what lies beyond this world of ours.

At last, the edge of the world. A rocky promontory juts over the rim; looking down you see water falling into abyss, hanging vines and gnarled trees clinging to vanishing cliffside. It is peaceful after a long journey, but you can't escape the question: What next? #TinyTalesTuesday #WritingPrompt

the ideal academic life is being an eccentric Victorian lord. Invent a stamp licking machine at 22. Get elected to the Royal Academy for counting the beetles on your estate. Die in an arsenic explosion. The perfect life.
