I’m not posting much here lately because there’s a lot going on and a lot of it’s sucky stuff that’s getting in the way of getting the good stuff done. Here’s a kitty.

When Biden was elected, (and even more when Obama was), I stated that one of the major bits of mental relief I was looking forward to was that I could leave worrying about difficult problems like North Korea to people who had spent their entire adult lives thinking about North Korea.

I know I have RTd this several times, but: the WHOLE POINT of the State Department is that it’s supposed to be full of people who deal with other countries, and who could therefore be expected to look at that map and know IMMEDIATELY that it was wrong.

After The Economist’s interview with Elon Musk, will major media finally reassess how they cover the fascist billionaire? As its editor-in-chief did the rounds saying she was “not a Musk hater,” he was on X calling her a traitor to the West and suggesting she be murdered. Please, have some dignity.

This Michelin Man bank also appears to be somewhat haunted. I get the sense that he's only interested in devouring fingernail clippings and dust bunnies.

As unofficial town sorcerer, I'm taking a short stroll inside the antique store, making sure that none of the haunted objects are too haunted. This is one of the services I provide the community, although as of yet no one has asked me to do this.
