Lately we’ve been getting these calls prefaced by an automated voice saying “Google ads customer call” and literally EVERY TIME it’s a wrong number call. This never happened before AI.

I was laughing about that one recent rendition of the national anthem but when I learned it was a legendary Motown singer my heart just sank. I seriously doubt any 85-year-old can sing it that well.
The WNBA has never had a trans woman play in the league’s 30-year history and now the right and other anti-trans activists are hammering the league over something that has never been an issue, proving once again it isn’t about protection but exhibiting cruelty toward trans people.
Rush. Coincidentally, Led Zeppelin went just a bit down (still enjoy them a lot but don’t consider them as transcendent as I did growing up). KISS also has gone WAY down since I’ve gotten older.

I hope this is FINALLY the last time we have to have anything to do with J*red L*to. It’s supremely frustrating to have two 80s franchises I really loved as a kid (Tron, MOTU) attached to him, and he was easily the worst part of both of those films.
RIP to Kavinsky and Glen Hansard. Two absolutely shocking deaths, two very different musicians whose work I enjoyed.
I cannot stress enough how much The Onion’s Real InfoWars has become weekly appointment viewing.

Yet another reason I absolutely DESPISE reality television is that, in addition to normalizing terrible people (including our current president), it also recycles and reuses terrible people long after we’re tired of them. Like, I have no desire to see George Santos, none.

Well, The Sheep Detectives was 10000000000% every bit as good as everyone said it was.
When a politician dies, they weren't your friend, you aren't close to their family, they are not owed your polite fictions or any obligation to not speak ill of them. They were public figures who wielded immense power and their death is as good an occasion as any to say what you think of them.
All I care about as an American is whether or not her deputy mayor will be named Fitch
