The Health Maintenance Organization Act of 1973 marked a significant shift, allowing for-profit companies to enter the healthcare market, which has since become the predominant model in the industry. Profit is the wrong incentive for a sacred industry such as healthcare.
Some of my most progressive friends believe MAHA is about getting out the food conglomerate and pharma lobbyists out to make food/drugs safe while easing restrictions on alternative modalities. They hate the racists and are clearly not MAGA. AOC can reach out to them by addressing those issues.
Don't think you're saving any money by shopping at a monopoly. In the long run, that will make everything more expensive.

I spent years working at DHS. ICE's HSI is supposed to hunt terrorists, traffickers & cartels. DHS recently claimed it found 16,000 potential voter fraud cases in Nevada. The real number is 185. Today, ICE HSI launches a “voter fraud surge” ahead of the midterms. This should raise serious questions.
