Greymuzzle, mother, nerd, fan of storytelling in all forms. I’ve been a furry for over 25 years. Pronouns: She/Her or They/Them https://www.praiseperrita.com/ Banner by @kaivey.bsky.social‬, profile photo by @marcimcadam.bsky.social‬

I saw Rocky Horror on broadway yesterday, and I am inspired to get a “neon” sign of “Don’t dream it, be it.” I know there are some furry led neon makers, do any do custom word/sentence commissions?

I have been avoiding posting on social media, but then I don’t get to share with and deepen friendships as many people virtually. If you’d like to get to know me, or share something, infodump about any special interest OR listen to my infodumps on my special interests… Send me a DM, let’s chat :)

Thinking about people I’ve ran in to at cons who have been in the fandom 5+ years but feign naivety to justify questioning trans people by saying they just don’t understand it. If you’ve been in the fandom more than a couple of years and don’t understand trans - you’re not trying hard enough. 🚩

Do you use linktree and want to own your own simple website for free? Send me a DM, I am happy to help. Linktree like websites are so easy to self host on GitHub for free. On a related note to a previous post, also message if you want to figure out a proper data backup strategy within your budget.

Remember the 3 - 2 - 1 rule: At least three copies of each file, on at least two different devices, at least one of them in a different physical location. The best solutions aren’t free, but there are options cheaper than you might fear. If you want any technical guidance, DM me! Happy to help

Backup day here. If you do any sort of creative work (or collect/purchase/save such materials digitally), protect yourself from headache and heartache in the future!

Text on the left reads "Have you backed up your art recently? It's a good day to back up your art." Right, an image of two cartoon ant characters packing up boxes into the back of a moving truck.

I have entered a phase of my life where seeing meat in art/drawings is starting to gross me out. It’s weird because I am generally totally okay with people eating meat next to me at a restaurant. As long as my food was never on the same plate/utensils and no cross contamination. What gives?

Do I know any artists who have experience making svg game assets? Grid/tile based game, open to art style but this top down grid map. Need grass, water, and some items for a web game. I’d love to hire a furry

it's 2016: north carolina introduces a bill to ban trans people from using bathrooms safely. there's a national outcry; companies withdraw business up to and including the NCAA cancelling a publicized game. the bill fails. it's 2026: kansas passes a law nullifying trans people's licenses. crickets.

My feelings about being a vegetarian grow stronger every day. www.theguardian.com/science/2026... I see a lot of people making Cow Tools jokes. For me, this screams to me that way more creatures than people realize have inner lives. Sentience, in some capacity.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality. And trans lives are grounded in reality. We see y'all. No matter what. www.popsci.com/science/tran...

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition

Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion. As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.
