It's all about the patterns today at #ArtRepostJuly. I don't do many of these but this forget-me-not one is a collab across time, using some of my dad Patrick's mum's art, remixing it adding in my own ladybirds, she always wanted to be a wallpaper designer... #SciArt #PatternDesign #Procreate

An original digital illustration by Loadofolbobbins of vibrant purple violet flowers next to some evening primrose flowers which are white with yellow centres. The stems and leaves of these plants are done in silhouette black in stark contrast to the vibrant colours of the flowers. The background is bright blue inky splashes against white. The evening primrose have five splayed out petals almost like a star which is reflect in the yellow centres. The violets also have five petals but with two at the top and three grouped together at the bottom, their petals are a beautiful purple with darker purple veining which leads to a small orange centre.

It's very hot again this week and everything dries too quickly again, making progress twice as slow. I'm again hunched over in worse ways than usual because I have to find an alternative space to work. Having the fan on constantly also means more crud getting blown into the paint. It's all just... 😓
