If Schumer wants to take credit for Maine and Michigan, he should take blame for Florida, Louisiana, Kentucky, and for Mississippi being so close. Start funding the South NOW!!
Third reason is that due to voter ID laws, you must present your ID to vote. If you forgot it, then you have 5 days from Election Day to present that ID to the circuit clerk’s office in-person to have your vote counted.
Second reason is we don’t have early voting. You have to vote in person on Election Day or by absentee ballot.
Reasons why votes are coming in slow in Mississippi: Secretary of State Michael Watson purged “inactive voters” using unverified Experian data and then entered into another deal with a different data broker and used that data. The experian purge caused about 1 in 9 Mississippi voters to be purged.
