'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)

An embroidery hoop containing a sewn landscape from above. It shows a forest on the right, a line of fire and charred ground with smoke on the left. The smoke is felted wool.

I had to create a playlist to inspire @bellmore.bsky.social to keep taking chair dance lessons @stellagarp.bsky.social ! 😂 He’s *STILL* sore from the workout he got the other night!

Got to hang out with my buddy THEE @stellagarp.bsky.social for a pint and then; she took me to chair dance class. I was disappointed there was no bucket of water to pour down on me, but I worked it; bitch! I was NOT dressed appropriately, but going to a dance class wasn't on my agenda this week.

My dumb ass in a blue polo that has golfing sasquatches on it and golf shorts. My leg is on the chair and I'm m looking at the camera.

The Odyssey cost $250 million to make. (likely the most expensive budget in Hollywood this year) Amazon got a tax break worth more than 30x that—paying $8 BILLION LESS than the year before. Then they fired 30,000 workers. Tax billionaires and their billionaire corporations.

Trump’s next pick to be AG will be Jim Jordan because he’s the next biggest lifelong pedophilia cover up guy in DC.

Obama didn't take away gay people's right to marry at the federal level. He didn't support it, but he didn't run on taking away established rights. There are Democrats currently running to claw back some rights earned by trans people. It's not all of them, but it's not great.

AIPAC has spent a record amount in this race to elect my opponent because she'll be a reliable vote to a foreign government that is aiding, arming, and abetting a genocide. I want your tax dollars spent on schools in Michigan, healthcare in Michigan, and roads in Michigan.

The actual harsh truth about MAHA is that it is an anti-vaxx, anti-science, pro-diarrhea conspiracy movement. It cloaks its arguments in abstractions about "big pharma" and "free speech" to generate *the exact op-ed The Atlantic keeps publishing*. Movements like this need to be fought, not placated.

And sorry about the typos in the first statement, but I imagine this horror is what people felt when sending fugitive slaves back to the South. You know, it is a horror, and yet, people want to compel us to support that horror.

As the piece admits, the second MAHA took power it started gutting basic science, promoting quack treatments and loosening health regulations. *This* is what the movement is. Yet it's up to critics not to conclude or predict anything from these actions and bend over backward to find common cause.
