As a baseball fan and human being, I feel so bad for Mike Trout right now.

Our teams made a trade @dvr.bsky.social? Thoughts? I would love to see Bo thrive with the Brewers eventually.
And the annual Guardians ticky tacky trade deadline begins. Bo Naylor and Cody Heuer to the Brewers for Blake Perkins and Craig Yoho. #championship!
The Guardians’ starting staff should go on strike until the team adds a couple of solid bats!!! This is effing ridiculous!! 😡😡😡
Super interesting story, @enosarris.bsky.social, I hope you guys will talk a little bit about this on the pod! @dvr.bsky.social
Breaking MLB news from @enosarris.bsky.social: The custom applications teams were allowed to add to dugout iPads were causing alarm, as there were fears of AI modeling being used for in-game decision-making. Now those custom apps have been banned by the league: www.nytimes.com/athletic/744...
I just posted my draft of this year’s Harvard Law Review #SCOTUS Foreword—“The Court Against the Courts.” It analyzes the challenges, obstacles, and threats district courts have faced in cases involving the Trump administration—and documents how & why the Court bears responsibility for much of it:

I was honored to be among the group of First Amendment scholars signing on to this letter challenging the FCC's continuing viewpoint-discriminatory efforts to shut down media outlets critical of the Administration. @techfreedom.org
The First Amendment leaves editorial judgments to broadcasters—not regulators. @techfreedom.org was joined more than 50 First Amendment scholars and free speech organizations in filing reply comments urging the FCC to end its “equal time” crackdown on The View. techfreedom.org/50-free-spee...

I lost my job, my kids have measles, and my country just suffered the greatest military humiliation in its history. But at least now a guy whose name I can’t pronounce will get to compete in the quarterfinals of a tournament in a sport that I don’t watch.
79 years ago today, Larry Doby integrated the American League. While I'm glad that the Cleveland Guardians are playing at home today, it's a lingering shame that Major League Baseball doesn't allow them to wear Doby's number for one game.
Kavanaugh's repeated use of the term "biological males" rather than "transgender girls and women" is gratuitous erasure. Meanwhile, his citation of the NCAA policy is disingenuous, as it was adopted under pressure from the Trump administration.
Congratulations to my colleague and friend @profsamkamin.bsky.social on his long overdue election to the @ali-org.bsky.social!
Great @smotus.bsky.social interview of @kylec.bsky.social. Watching the viral clips of Kyle moderating local political debates featured on John Oliver and Jimmy Kimmel's shows, it's pretty clear to me that he should moderate all future US Presidential debates!
The Trump administration has illegally but successfully weaponized the power to disburse funds appropriated by Congress to punish dissent and coerce obedience. On the blog and cross-posted on the @knightcolumbia.org website, I propose some disbursal mechanisms that bypass the federal executive. 👇
