It will be worse than this! Most websites will be forced to ask you to send your ID to a third party surveillance service, adding a credit card won't be enough for most. Bluesky asks for your *social security number* if you live in Texas now, due to this shit. Call in, and kill it.

This will be the US if the SCREEN Act passes. Call your Senators before August 5 and tell them that you oppose the SCREEN Act, KOSA, and the KIDS Act. Use the official lookup tool at www.senate.gov/senators/sen... to find yours by state.

In October last year I was fired by Rockstar Games in what we believe was a union busting move. We lost our home. We lost 2 jobs with my partner being forced to resign. We lost a community. Most importantly however we had to leave our two dogs behind, one of which will never return.

Back in October, Rockstar Games fired 34 employees for alleged gross misconduct. The severity of these firings could have spelled the end for a burgeoning union effort that was underway, but it didn't. In fact, the union is now *bigger* than it's ever been before. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym4z...

We felt it was important to include Will's story here ahead of the tribunal getting underway in September, as a reminder that even if the union prevails in the British courts, these firings have already forever changed the lives of Rockstar's former employees.

A statement given to People Make Games by Will and his partner, Steph, following the news that Abby wouldn't be making it home to Australia.

Not only has Will's partner been forced to return to Australia as well, but their two dogs have been left stranded in Edinburgh for several months. Tragically, their older dog's health has since deteriorated. She will no longer be able to make it back to Melbourne to be reunited with her family.

Will's dog, Abby.

And finally, there was another person we knew we had to include. Will Mesilane is one of the fired R* workers, but unlike the others, he'd moved to to the country from Australia on a work visa. His sudden dismissal set off a domino effect of repercussions that have upended his family's life.
