So I got a new job about a month ago and the decreasing amount of spare time I've had to scroll has made me less irritable. It turns out endlessly reading what Reddit thinks of world politics or what events I'm not going to isn't "staying informed", it's just an addiction

I'm just alone in my living room, but it's like having my brain plugged into every conversation, every hobby, every discourse, every political movement and everybody's personal lives at once.
