I like St Louis a lot. He/Him

I don’t know how Spreadsheet People became the main character, but I want you to know that Spreadsheet People are not a monoculture. You think an Index Match Person would give the time of day to a VLookup Person?

If I want to piss off my wife and her sister, who are both over six feet tall, I tell them about the time I walked into Old Navy, went straight to the clearance rack, and bought a nice looking pair of jeans for under $20 without trying them on.

I saw The Odyssey last night, and it was a great movie. I like how we don’t have to worry about plot spoilers when discussing it, but there are still spoilers. Like how they played, “Where Eagles Dare” by the Misfits when Odysseus fought the suitors. Or they should have played it, at least.

I kinda hate this cycle of grilling a presidential nominee, presenting the myriad valid reasons why they absolutely cannot have the post, and then getting enough votes to secure the job. It’d be pretty cool if a crummy nominee was actually told to hit the bricks but I just don’t see that happening.

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

“in Jackson, Miss., the financially most harmed are Black women, specifically Black mothers, and that is because of the policies and the systems that we have put in place that make it virtually impossible for them to earn at the same level as their counterparts.” www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

This program gives Black single moms $1,000 a month for a year. The results are undeniable
