Before the whitewash comes in, a reminder that because of Mitch Mconnell American women are dying and bleeding out because they were denied abortion care. Because of McConnell the Russians were free to interfere in our elections. Because of Mitch billionaires are coddled while kids get screwed over.

The trans sports ban are almost completely an invention of the media, conservative and mainstream. it has been years of lies, of shoddy fact checking on just completely false conservative claims, years of phony concern trolling.

My heart breaks for all the trans children and adults whose lives will be less full by being banned from participating in activities they love and find joy in, and for all people who will have their gender questioned or have to submit to invasive gender testing because of today’s SCOTUS ruling.

Also to any politician who says "well, but sports" - trans people should be able to participate fully in sports, because trans people are people. Trans kids are kids. And excluding trans people and trans kids from sports turns them into second-class citizens and that's unacceptable.

Abolish the Supreme Court. No reform, no expansion. Throw the whole thing out.

Here's what happened in Trump v. Barbara: 5-4 on the constitutional question. Roberts, Sotomayor, Kagan, Barrett, Jackson say the 14th Amendment says what it says: born here, you're a citizen. But it's 6-3 on the actual outcome, because Kavanaugh disagreed on the constitutional question.

With this ruling, the birthright issue is not going away. The right hasn't really begun *organizing* around getting rid of the citizenship clause. Like Roe, this will be their fight for a generation.
