You know what's also really annoying? the fact the majority of theatres need you to be on their access scheme (which they often want evidence for) so it's not really possible for anyone other than me to get the tickets if we're going together

Trying to map the branching path of Darkness and Distance chapters which often involves noting out vague ideas of where chapters are going and one I jotted down twice now was "Failure leads to Vengeance" which does admittedly sound like parody star wars/dune dialogue
Games by winners of the Diana Jones Emerging Designer Program from previous years, including @stoichamster.bsky.social, @moreblueberries.bsky.social, and @ratwave.uk

multiple entities now have been so bad that they've managed to make uefa look good. uefa!
Did a solo playtest of the first two chapters for Darkness and Distance The scientist started out as stuck up and naive, he preserved most of his relationships and resources through the start but burned up all his skills on the last challenge and didn't so much abandon the creature as pass out
Coming to Booth 449 I'm with the Damned & Other Games The Gallant and the Virtuous Out of the Fold & Other Games A verifiable Rat Wave hit parade on offer! Banger after banger after banger after banger etc.
Here's the list of 154 games from 92 publishers we're bringing to #Booth449 at #GenCon2026 www.indiepressrevolution.com/xcart/Gen-Co...
Playtest Material commissioned a piece on melodrama in TRPGs from @ratwave.uk which supports one possible explaination for this
Over on my blog I have a post up talking about some changes I'm making to Darkness and Distance after a self playtest, as well as the rationale behind various bits of the game's guts. (Darkness and Distance will feature as part of Kayla Dice's Absolute Monsters www.kickstarter.com/projects/rat...)

Trying to write an essay about how cozy games and bleak unwinnable horror games are usually just reskins of one another since they're both fundamentally concerned with rejecting the possibility of progress
Blog Rewind Week continues on my Patreon with a look back at the digital collage art I've used in Psychodungeon, the Rat Wave mixtape trilogy, and for Full Send's art lightly re-edited with messages from the future and there's more of a sharing of the pieces of what went into each art piece
