Five, maybe six stars to Blades '68 by @olddog.games published by @evilhat.bsky.social I promise that no matter how hyped you are for this game, you are not hyped enough. #blades68 www.burrowedbooks.com/rpg/blades-6...

I really enjoyed this episode for a few reasons. Most of all, I love how Barclay and Bee (1) read / discuss specific endnotes and (2) puzzle out the plot together. Playing solo games. Reading. These are social activities. It's what I dreamed of: multiple playthroughs, discussing with friends. ❤️

In July, we read & played recent ENNIE-winner “SPINE” (or: "Siderius Plug's SPINE: Immortality in Ninety-Nine Endnotes"), a dark solo TTRPG about losing yourself in a book by Asa Donald (@backwardsttrpg.bsky.social). You can listen to the episode here:

"The idea that this monstrous many headed being feeding off the dancer’s energy (and agony) really hits here." Very thorough review of Ennie-nominated Pirouette, which mashes up the Jenga mechanics of Dread by @epidiah.bsky.social and Wretched & Alone by @loottheroom.bsky.social. Tomorrow: Koriko!

If you buy from us at a convention you can forward your Square receipt to pdf@indiepressrevolution.com and we'll send you download links for the games you bought that come with PDFs. We're caught up on Gen Con!

Nine Space Games is in our warehouse! It looks great. Here's The Arrangements, maybe my favorite, shamelessly stolen from Handel's 1739 opera "Berenice". But in space! I really love this format - play it in an hour, cut straight to the big feels and agonizing decisions.

Two-page relationship map for the freeform game "The Arrangements". Lots of "X loves Y" and "Y hates X".

During yesterday's Gen Con Tornado the roof above our booth sprung a small leak, but fortunately no harm was done. #RuneQuest was inducted into the ENNIES Hall of Fame at the Awards Ceremony the night before, so we'll just say this was the great Storm God Orlanth showing his approval.

A small leak above the Chaosium booth during the Gen Con Tornado was solved with a trash bin to catch the dripping water

#GenCon2026 is in the home stretch now! FIFTEEN minutes are left to make a mad dash to Booth 449. @ipr.bsky.social still has wonderful #games for your #gaming group or for you to play solo. #TTRPGs #RPGs #GenCon
