So I'm in favor of all-gender bathrooms and inclusion but am I crazy for thinking that you'll still need urinals, esp at places like large sporting events & concerts? It seems like they're far more efficient in serving a significant percentage of users & would shorten lines for those who need stalls

On social media, a broad consensus is that you can’t admit to struggle — at least not while you’re struggling. Doing so represents a failure so profound it’s almost existential. How did it become mandatory to demonstrate perpetual growth and progress online?

The Trib board wants you to be angry that people who own multiple homes with one in NYC are being asked to prove their NYC property is their primary residence. Real rabble-rousing stuff here. Imagine having to call your accountant (which they all definitely have) to forward a tax document!

There were 37 homicides in the city last month, the lowest total for any such month dating back to at least 1970. That total is down 18% compared to July 2025, and is less than half the totals of July 2020 and 2021, which each saw more than 100 killings.

The Chicago White Sox have acquired actor Kevin Dunn.

I'm not saying I was totally sold on him but I am surprised which post-hype prospects the Sox are committing to this deadline. I guess they're confident that Doyle's glove provides a higher floor for this year than Pereira's bat/health situation (although Doyle's also been hurt?), idk.
