So the key findings of Amnesty's report was that these anti-rights groups have massive funding, that it comes largely from far-right christian groups in the US, and that they're abusing UK charity law to misrepresent themselves as pro-rights organisations.

To be more precise: Rep. Morgan Griffith's (not Griffith Morgan) bill only attacks Americans born in Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands, not the District of Columbia. Americans born in American Samoa do not have birthright citizenship.

Of course, this bill doesn't obviate their tax obligations or grant them independence. It would, instead, allow for the deportation of people *from their own birthplaces*. I cannot overstate how evil and racist this bill is. Please call your Congressional representatives and tell them:
