Today, alongside colleagues and community leaders, we launched BC’s first public ash immersion site in Delta. For years, families in our community had to send loved ones’ ashes overseas just to carry out proper last rites. Now they can honour those traditions at home, openly & with dignity.

I was in Kitimat as LNG Canada and five First Nations signed a major equity option agreement: the opportunity to take majority ownership of the potential Phase 2 LNG storage tank, up to $1B. This shows what’s possible when Nations are true partners in projects that grow B.C.’s and Canada’s economy.🇨🇦
