One of my all time favourite vinyls I’ve had the pleasure of working on! The brief was ‘Chrono Trigger with a traditional Japanese art and Ukiyo-e twist’, which I absolutely fell in love with 🌊❤️‍🔥

(Re: last RT) When I first saw that bat video I was horrified down to my toes, even though I knew it wasn't in the States. I've seen a rabid animal and that video just gave me the shivers. :D

We're getting ready to go in the back garden to watch the eclipse with a glass of wine. P made a pinhole camera type of thing so hopefully we can see it.

It's my birthday, and although it's been a quiet day we did have a lot of food. I made cinnamon rolls with grilled nectarine and brown butter (omg) earlier, and P is marinating steak for tacos for tonight and I'll make esquites, a grilled corn salad to go with them. Yum.

we are just now starting the cover journey for my next traditionally published horror novel, and are working with an artist, and i just have so much gratitude in thinking 'how wonderful. i have my job, my editor has their job, my cover artist has their job, and ALL IN THE CREATIVE ARTS. heckin JOBS'

A question from Reddit that I'll answer here: "What's the most unhinged thing a doctor has said to you with a straight face?"

Don't just share the most polished, professional works. Repost the people who are just starting, who are amateur, who maybe don't have the proportions or the anatomy or the color down. Remember they're choosing to pick up a pencil and enjoy the act of creating, many of them for the first time.

It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.
