This is one of the early commercial flight sims in its original 1984 release, albeit one restricted to landings only. It's really atmospheric though, especially in the X68000 version with the radio chatter and the low roar of the engines and the nighttime landscape.
To clarify: Flash Gordon does not take place in the future, just on another planet. Buck Rogers DOES take place in the future. John Carter of Mars takes place during Reconstruction, of all things

People have been consistently donating so as long as that keeps happening I have virtually no worries about affording my meds. I have to raise enough for an Uber there and back because I'm going to have to take a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle.
