It's not perfect by any measure but it has so many moments that'll make you go "oh fuck that's fucking awesome hell yeah fuck yeah" that you owe it to yourself to try it.
I would have more sympathy for people going "why did they give Odysseus 21st-century morals and scruples around war and the use of violence" if they'd actually gone to see the movie that took the opposite approach
