Honestly I think it's impossible to adapt, purely on the basis that the waveform collapses when you have actors play those characters. It's like how I can't imagine Milgrim from Spook Country and Zero History being a guy on the screen. It needs to be a region of your brain, projecting.
I can tell that the Neuromancer show won't let Case be enough of a dirtbag loser or Molly be enough of an insanely-libidinal cipher, which really is the crux of so much of the main character dynamics.
