We know we need to get better at communicating changes that go out, and also have to write the rest of the onboarding docs to make it easier to orient around Reams! We hope to do better, and show off all the features of the app, stay tuned and keep writing notes

We really struggled with this when using Obsidian as well, so we gave you the option to fix it in Reams. If you set a filename using date and time, you can jump straight into the new note. They come with a space to set a title later if you like, but you don't have to! Will be set by default soon
Luna Fazio@lunafazio.bsky.social · 2w agoalso be easy for me to retrieve that information at a later time and Obsidian already introduces two friction points for me there first, in order to write anything, it is necessary to create a note or use a preexisting one that is already one decision that i have to make up front every single time
You can now @ people in Reams! Now you can see their profile photo when mentioned When you use the auto suggest, it'll create a link to the at uri of their profile, clicking it takes you to @aturi.to Interop wins! If you use only the @ you still get the chip, but it's saved as plain text.
