Capturing some video from the STe last night for a project. This is a big part of why I bother keeping old hardware around and running. It feels good to be able to contribute to a project in some small way for folks who don't have easy access to vintage machines.

I got a Mac Mini on loan from work, trying to see how difficult it is to make a Mac (and Linux) native version of the Encounter launcher. An unfortunate side effect is that the Win32 executable has grown from 472KB to about 5MB. 🙁

The wildfire smoke here in Pennsylvania reminds me of the smog I'd see when my parents were driving me into Philly on the Schuylkill Expressway as a lad in the 1970's. The smog is largely gone these days, but with the planet warming we are just replacing one thing with another.
