ICU doctor. Long suffering supporter of LFC. Lapsed optimist.

Yep. Earlier this year I was interviewed by Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media is aiding the Trump administration’s Epstein cover up.

Banks permitted millions in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein—and former 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi had the story months ago. But the report would never air. trib.al/ZShZlIS

I'm just going to keep all my notes from now on. Let's see if Chat GPT can generate sixteen incoherently typed pages of bullet points and ??? and THEN SOMETHING HAPPENS.

A committed racist, he reached a senior level in his profession and then, protected by a culture which fails to appreciate the human impact of its work outside its own narrow social circle, spent twenty years seeing what he could get away with.

We are in the third drought in five years. We have the National Trust and NFU - those radical types - sounding the alarm on unprecedented temperatures. But so little from any single figure in politics talking about the climate crisis.

Only just found out about this For the record, you don't get multiple genetic markers and one of the most effective medications known to science with 'social constructs' Channel 4, this is, in scientific parlance, an absolute fu*king disgrace that will genuinely endanger lives #c4 #ADHD

New Channel 4 documentary, The Great ADHD Myth?, seeks to determine whether ADHD is a genuine neurodevelopmental disorder, or a social construct

A crappy photoshop paint image with a red star on blue, in comic sans is the message 'some people on the internet aren't American'

Lockdown was shite, of course it was shite. What I remember was the right wing doing everything they could to delay it, which meant that when it happened it had to be much longer and harsher. Now a GOOD question is "why haven't we done anything about air quality in enclosed spaces?"

Great summary COVID downplayers did, sadly, win; Trump chose them to lead the federal health agencies (RFK Jr & his dude team: Drs Bhattacharya, Kulldorff, Makary, Oz, Prasad) They're STILL hurt that scientists rejected their pandemic ideas—men would rather destroy public health than go to therapy

What I hate about COVID downplayers is… you won okay. In the aftermath of humanity coming together to develop the most crucial vaccines of our lifetime & collectively sacrificing to save lives, we are now less safe, less vaccinated & less empathetic than ever. You won ok. Lay down your swords.

Yes lockdown was really tough for kids. Lots of those kids are teenagers now so maybe as a thank you our establishments could stop deliberately making even more things worse for them due to a weird systemic hatred of our own youth
