Watching Republicans re-litigate the COVID response, it remains clear to me that one reason they view the pandemic response as a failure is that too many of the people that they wanted to die are still alive.
QED. The through-line for these snot-nosed "activists" is that they actively want to make Miss Maxine's life worse. Starting with taking away her right to vote. bsky.app/profile/redo...
They can't even be bothered to vote in every election. They'd rather make noise instead. Now Miss Maxine on the "ersher bird"? She votes every election. Her pastor--and the local party operatives--know this
As a fellow Asian, I'm super disappointed he would ever think that white supremacy adjacent is beneficial for him or anyone else. At best, white supremacists would see him as a useful pawn and/or fetish, but that's it. I'm not sad about those who pander for white supremacy, either.
RE: The New Republic "needs to see the HR lady" www.yahoo.com/news/politic... Author: Emma Janssen, The New Republic Staff 🧐 (TNR deleted the first post because there was uproar from their overt display of bigotry. Usually their bigotry is not so obvious...)
And since I'm complaining, the distribution of ages in the Legislature is not outrageously skewed to older people. One might draw the reasonable conclusion that it takes years of experience to be able to run a caucus! Who knew?! 🙄
Geez, the easiest way to get younger people in office and running things is to *have more young people vote!* Here's what happened in 2024:
Things would be 100 times better if Kamala Harris was President right now and if you still refuse to acknowledge that fact then you are a lost cause.
I wish I found it hard to believe that you hired a very white lady to say Black voters are stupid instead of finding a Black writer to explain the litany of concerns they address when Black people choose their candidates.
This was in Chicago???! If anything, this just shows how VERY VERY white the DSA is. I can not & will not trust a party this fuckin white. Other white LGBTQ+ people shouldn't either. Nope. White cishets can play no war but the class war, WE cannot. Sooner y'all learn that better off we'll be
Members of the Democratic Socialists of America, the country’s largest socialist organization, recently gathered in Chicago at a moment of surging political influence. Our reporter Kellen Browning went to the DSA’s national summit to learn more about the group’s new platform. nyti.ms/4z0iFAE
This is the person telling us Black voters don’t support Democratic Socialists because they are low information voters, and vote how they’re told by the “establishment”
You can't complain about being politically homeless when you ran away from home.
Affordable Health Act vs. Obamacare: they were the same thing but one was anathema to White people
This is like saying racism is due to economic anxiety. Nope. There is no policy prescription for conspiracy theories.
I have great concerns that as people are being advertised to about "banking" that pays more than banks, they don't know to check about FDIC insurance.
Follow the money, follow the money, follow the money.
What do Bobby Kennedy Jr., his son Bobby Kennedy III, and Rand Paul have in common? They each wrote a book criticizing Tony Fauci, and they share the same publisher, Skyhorse, founded by a close RFK Jr. adviser who also runs the MAHA PAC. www.nytimes.com/2026/08/03/u...
Apparently, the more things change, the more things stay the same…Go gaslight someone else . The veil is off and you’d have to be blind not to see it…
I will reiterate: Christians in the West evangelize in public for the same reason men catcall. Neither is trying to persuade you; both are reminding you that the public sphere belongs to them and you exist in it at their sufferance.
Virtually all discourse re internal fighting within the Democratic Party is progressive versus centrist, and I think it's a counterfeit discourse, because that framing overlooks the fact that both take for granted the base as it exists in favor of chasing whiteness.
This is why both podbro centrists and Berniebro progressives tripped over Platner - both wings are courting white supremacy and misogyny, and are openly hostile to the actual base of the Democratic party.

Bluesky isn't insulated from ideas or reality. X is the bubble, artificially promoting unpopular conservative ideas and burying information to conceal it from the user base and make themselves seem more credible. And it's nuts that people refuse to extract themselves and return to earth.
Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."
How do we get the media and the American people to understand that the only difference between surveillance and stalking is who is doing it and also understand that regardless both are doing it to coerce, control, threaten, and manipulate you.
This is, perhaps, the most pervasive long-term impact of the whole "drown government in a bathtub" Reagan era. These government entities, regulations, and laws *only* ever existed in the first place because unregulated capitalism results in widespread suffering & often death 100% of the time.
Turns out that food companies were only checking their food because the government told them to, which is exactly why we need government regulations.
Is it me, or has everyone forgotten that Trump tried to *invalidate* Wayne County MI (Detroit and environs) elections in 2020? Is this what DSA is counting on? www.npr.org/sections/liv...
Michigan's Wayne County Certifies Election Results After Brief GOP Refusal
The Republican members of the bipartisan Wayne County Board of Canvassers sought to block the certification of the state's most populous county — but they soon relented under withering criticism.

The GOP is desperately trying to rewrite history, but just a reminder that Donald Trump was president during the lockdowns, and he awarded Fauci a presidential commendation for his work on COVID. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
99% of the people pushing the Protocols of the Elders of AIPAC crap can't tell you what Buckley vs Valeo is.
"AIPAC" is the new "They are eating the cats and dogs." Anyone singling out AIPAC as the problem with money in politics and not bringing up any other PACs is being antisemitic. Plain and simple.
People need to get it through their heads that whatever they *might* have “actually” meant a couple of years ago, when leftists say “AIPAC” or “Israel” NOW they often mean (((Jewish))) just as when MAGA says “DEI” they mean “Black.” If you can’t get that I don’t know what the else to say.
"Communism" sounds cool to rebellious under-informed youngsters; reality is bread lines and not getting toilet paper or refrigerators and Five-Year plans and perpetual shortages (1/2)
