Ah, I also missed that STALKER 2's expansion is out this week, along with the big v2.0 update. It'll probably be in the state it ideally SHOULD have launched in, but I'm not going to hold that against the devs on account of them being in an active warzone.

This next week is kinda nuts for PC releases. Mortal Shell 2, Sinking City 2, Stars Reach, Brigador Killers, Steins;Gate Re:Boot, Vholume, Entropy, Cicadamata, Theropods, Project Pitt, Vapor World, Twisted Tower, Gallipoli, Ironsand and plenty more.

The issue with a “we get to do whatever we want and in return we’ll take care of you” relationship is that you can’t change it to a “we get to do whatever we want and you have to pay for it” relationship without things starting to break down quickly. Which is how Trump has started treating allies.

Trump allies himself w/Kim Jong Un against South Korea: “Based on my very good relationship w/Kim Jong Un, I am not happy that the US has agreed to Joint Military Exercises…I recently asked the President of SK if they would like to join us in the Denuclearization of Iran, & they said, ‘No thanks!’”

Trump allies himself with totalitarian dictator Kim Jong Un against South Korea: “Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States has, long ago, agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea. These exercises are not only costly, with much of these costs paid for by the United States of America (as usual!), but send a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile, to a Country that, as long as Donald J. Trump has been President, has been unthreatening and respectful … While somewhat unrelated (?), I recently asked the President of South Korea if they would like to join us in the Denuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they said, ‘No thanks!’”

Anecdotal, but I saw one of those interview / quiz videos the other day where one of the questions was “What country has the highest population of Muslims” and there were two separate normies that guessed the U.K. and France. The right has been extremely influential at pushing nonsense like this.

Presenter: [The argument was put that DEI advanced people not on merit] Woolley: "There are 975 Professors at Cambridge. How many do you think are black? Paddy O'Connell: "Its a fair question you're asking me. So I am going to say 30%" Woolley: "I tell you: less than half a per cent"

Jason Arday's story is sad. I never really knew how racist (normal practices for Western media) UK media was until my Black British peers explained this many years ago & constant reminders followed. Systems don't change on their own, as always people gotta tear them down for what's needed.

This is the coverage of Arday **just in the Telegraph** in the UK. This is only the first four pages of results, just in one outlet.

In Tokyo in 1968, a man on a fake police bike stopped a car carrying 294 million yen in bonuses, said dynamite may have been planted in it, lit a road flare, and screamed, "It's gonna blow! Hurry, run!" He drove off with the car. Nobody was ever caught.

50 years ago, someone managed to steal 300 million yen without firing a shot. Was it, as some say, the perfect crime?
