We aren’t Great… If America is the greatest country in the world... Why are millions afraid to call an ambulance? Why do people ration insulin? Why do families hold bake sales to pay for chemotherapy? Those aren't signs of greatness. They're signs that something is fundamentally broken.
Every single second, the world hands $6,000 to the fossil fuel industry in subsidies. That’s $5 TRILLION every year. Renewables? Barely a fraction of that. We are literally paying to cook our own planet. When does this madness stop? 🌍💸 #ClimateCrisis #FossilFuels
Not only did they absolutely beg for this, they made it so that “merit” was synonymous with being white so now you’re stuck with precisely the kind of moron who believes that. www.politico.com/news/magazin...

I'll be willing to buy the desirability of data centers once they locate one in Beverly Hills and one next to Mar-A-Lago.

So why isn't Fox news televising interviews of all the happy people who live near data centers so we can hear what a treat it is to live with the constant noise, lights, increased utility costs and non-existent new jobs?
Appalling cruelty — and all to fund more tax cuts for the rich.
It's amazing how quickly “If you've got nothing to hide…” became “On the advice of counsel...”
My fav arts of any Spider-Person is when they are in their Spider suit but they wear casual stuff over it, like this Inyuk Lee art serie with spider characters

I lost my job, my kids have measles, my electric bill has doubled, and I have explosive diarrhea from a parasite the CDC no longer monitors. But at least now Black kids won't be getting free breakfasts from Head Start anymore.
The people who falsely accused an Olympian of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool are the same people telling you to trust them about the war with Iran
FYI. I've been in data centers. The ONLY people that work those buildings are the security people. 1st class!! The techs come in, replaces servers that fail and leave. They work for the companies. They drive in, find the broken server pull it out of the rack, put a new one in. And drive away.
True. And you'll never hear this on Fox. Or the fact that roughly 40% of Tesla execs who moved from California to Texas were busily attempting to move back to California after less than one year.
"Taxing the rich doesn't work." Tell that to Massachusetts. Their millionaire tax has raised $3.1 BILLION so far. It's funding bridges, buses, teachers, free community college, and free school meals. This isn't theory. It's working. We've got the receipts.
Trump's approval ratings are at all-time lows. He's flailing on the economy. His "little excursion" in Iran has become a forever war. Even Republicans are beginning to revolt against him. He's not all powerful. He's a failed president.
I’ve been yelling about it this all year. Municipalities still act like these are unfortunate incidents instead of what they are. They’re attacks on critical infrastructure. We’ve underinvested in modernizing essential systems and infrastructure while degrading cybersecurity.
At the start of the Civil War, there were 4 million people who were enslaved in the US. Families were separated so some members could be sold to plantations in other parts of the country, including children.
