This is what the UCP calls governing. An ID policy nobody asked for, threatening healthcare for a 90-year-old who has given Alberta everything. He deserves better. So does every senior caught in this mess.

His family is doing everything right. Calling every office across the province, and across our country. Fighting for a father who helped build this province, so he doesn't lose his healthcare over paperwork nobody warned him he'd need.

His daughter called the Premier's office for help. She was told this was a federal immigration issue, and that if it dragged on, it would "eventually" affect her father's healthcare. That's it. That's the answer a 90-year-old Albertan and his family got.

UCP's plan to put citizenship markers on driver's licenses is an absolute disaster: 1) many seniors don't have a passport/birth certificate easily accessible 2) people are unable to renew their driver's license, risking their employment 3) ID changes put healthcare at risk too #ableg #abpoli
