Trump is every reactionary psychopathology laid bare. I once thought, back in the mists of 2015, that people would see this--see the reactionary psyche for what it is--& be repulsed. But lots of people see it & experience it as validation, as authenticity or honesty. "I share that psychopathology!"

Trump: "When they take something over, it's always dirty. The sidewalks are dirty. The people are -- I hate to say this -- not clean, okay? The curbs are loaded with you know what. The smell is terrible. I mean, I see it happening to cities. Blue cities. They're all blue."

The problem with so many white pple, and I am white, is that they think that no matter how smart or qualified a Black person is there will always be a white person who is smarter or more qualified. I grew up hearing this crap. And, it was also said about women (there would always be a smarter man).

Murray: "He has told us over 40 times now that a deal is near and the war will be over soon. But now he's asking for $70 billion more and for us to just trust him it'll work out."

Remember the SNAP cuts in the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill?” Children account for nearly half of the 2.4 million people who are no longer receiving SNAP in at least 19 states. The true number of kids impacted nationwide is unknown. This is horrifying. No child should go hungry.

"The success of the US soccer team comes in spite of Trump, not because of him. Half the roster is made up of dual citizens, foreign-born players, and immigrants... You can’t take credit for the team's success while simultaneously trying to eliminate the conditions necessary for it to exist."

Mamdani: When I am speaking about AIPAC, I’m speaking about an organization that has fought any attempt to actually deliver safety to people not just in Palestine but, frankly, throughout much of the region. And it is a status quo of immorality. It is one that I will not accept.

“Given the signals that we’ve received from this administration, all of the ways they have acted to intervene in elections and to insert DOJ in election processes in a way that is inappropriate, we would be foolish to not be prepared,” she said. “So we are prepared." www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...
