The "Party of Reagan" has the United States siding with Russian aggression against NATO allies and a brutal war on a European democratic US partner. Yes, the whole party. If they didn't, they would impeach and remove the president who is blatantly breaking US law to help fund Russia's war effort.
Frog and Toad went back to the river. They looked for the button in the mud.
What a fucking asshole. (And I don’t even like Warren!)
Just read it. Bessent wrote Warren a letter
A big snake came out of the cave. “Hello lunch,” said the snake when he saw Frog and Toad. He opened his wide mouth. Frog and Toad jumped away.
Fascinating piece on the (very bad!) interaction between a certain mitochondrial mutation and a common general anesthetic. (CW: child death and disablement) www.theatlantic.com/magazine/202...
When Anesthesia Goes Wrong

The disheartening part is that if gas was $2, for whatever reason, they'd all be fine with fascism.
BRUTAL! Watch this video until the end and tell me Alaska can’t flip blue. Broken promises and $9 gas. 3X Trump voters: “He’s just lying.” #LetsGetVoteReady
“Me too,” said a field mouse. “I have not seen anything funny in a long time.”
Discussions of criminal justice have just gotten so dumb, man. I feel like social media has had a really pernicious effect on this. Like just a really useless idiot polarization between people who think CRIME!!! means basic civil rights are woke vs everyone is a Jean Valjean victim of circumstance.
Frog and Toad ate many cookies, one after another. “You know, Toad,” said Frog, with his mouth full, “I think we should stop eating. We will soon be sick.” “You are right,” said Toad. “Let us eat one last cookie, and then we will stop.”
If everything were truly hopeless their propaganda would not be neccecary
i challenge you to post one optimistic take or belief today on bluesky this needn’t be toxic positivity, just good ol’ run of the mill optimism/hope in the face of a torrential downpour of doom

After the glorious revolution yes, a few are going to live in NYC and paint murals, but more are going to be sent to Omaha, NE to sit in a cubicle, and the really lucky ones are going to be sent to Amarillo, TX to pack meat. And if you think personal connections determine which one you get *now*...
Today, the only people who are willing to admit it was a terrorist attack are the people who were saying it was good!
Daddy Alito, the mean states won't let us enforce the Fugitive Abortionist Act!

My greatest frustrating has been with policy wonks who persist in thinking we can just keep doing normal policy analysis ("calling balls and strikes") in this situation. The President of the United States is both lawless and out of his mind. That preempts all normal discussion.
To steal a march on @sophianyx.bsky.social yesssssss! Such a fun show!
Toad sipped his tea. “Frog,” he asked, “are you making this up?” “Maybe yes and maybe no,” said Frog.
